ResumoPurpose of the study: Various operations have been proposed to compensate for congenital absence of the vagina. Sigmoid colpoplasty is one of the most efficient methods to avoid subsequent stenosis of the vaginal neocavity. Materials and methods: Celioscopic surgery was performed by the perineal route. Discussion: There are many reasons to choose celioscopy in this type of surgery performed for functional and esthetics purposes. Conclusion: Sigmoid colpoplasty is a new, reliable, and reproducible technique for teams experienced in celioscopic surgery.
