Resumo

Abstract Reversed-phase and anion-exchange high performance liquid chromatography, which offer a great potential for the measurement of vitamin C in plankton, were compared using different columns and reagents. A method using a polystyrene divinyl benzene column is described that has been utilized for rapid separation and quantification of L(+)-ascorbic acid in marine plankton.
