Pesticide Residue Analysis and Safety

The published methods for the analysis of penicillin are classified according to whether they are intended a) to differentiate between types of penicillin, or b) to determine the total penicillins present in a given sample. The limitations of many of these methods are indicated, and those which are attractive for possible routine application are discussed in detail. Les méthodes publiées pour l'analyse de la pénicilline sont classées de la façon suivante: a) Différenciation des divers types de pénicilline. b) Dosages de la pénicilline totale présente dans un échantillon donné. Les limites d'utilisation de la plupart de ces méthodes sont indiquées et celles présentant un certain intérêt en vue de dosages éventuels en série sont exposées en détail. Die veroffentlicliten Methoden zur Analyse des Penicillins können folgender Weise eingeteilt werden : a) Unterscheidung der verschiedenen Penicillintypen ; b)Bestimmung des totalen Penicillingehalts in einem gegebenen Muster. Die Beschränkungen vieler dieser Methoden werden angegeben. Diejenige welche möglicherweise für eventuelle Serienanalyse angewandt werden können, werden einer eingehenden Besprechung unterworfen.
