ResumoAbstract A biotin-avidin amplified enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the measurement of human IgA in serum, colostrum, gastric juice, and supernatants of in vitro mitogen-stimulated human peripheral blood mononuclear cells is described. The ELISA reproducibly detects as little as one nanogram of IgA in a fifty microliter sample (20 ng/ml).
