ResumoInter-anion O–H‥O interactions have consequences on the covalent bonding of the donor and acceptor moieties that are typical for strong hydrogen bonding; in contrast to published views, they are classified as strong hydrogen bonds, with bond orders of H‥O of the magnitude 0.25 valence units.
