ResumoWe previously investigated the relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric polyps and have found that H. pylori infection was closely associated with the formation of hyperplastic foveolar polyps.1 This relationship is supported by two case reports of Veereman2 and Mocek3 and their associates, who found that the clearance and eradication of H. pylori led to the disappearance of hyperplastic foveolar polyps. However, these studies did not provide information on the changes in endoscopic findings, histologic findings, serum gastrin, or pepsinogen.
