Carozza Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a specialist on the baroque and Dante and author of European Baroque and many articles on Dante. He played soccer in his native Italy. In Milwaukee he has been active in the Milwaukee Kickers and Brewers Soccer Clubs.
