From May 1987 to February 1988, we treated a cluster of six patients with clinical and radiologic findings similar to those described by Thaler and colleagues.Hepatic candidiasis occurred in six patients receiving intensive chemotherapy for acute nonlymphoblastic leukemia (n= 5) or acute lymphoblastic leukemia (n= 1). All patients were women ranging in age from 18 to 59 years.
