Resumo

Abstract The model dependence of the binding energy per particle in nuclear matter is studied by comparing the results obtained from the separable potentials of Mongan and Tabakin with those from their phase equivalent local potentials. The differences are significant only in the case of Tabakin's one term separable potential which gives about 5 MeV per particles less contribution to the binding energy at kF = = 1.36 fm−1 than the corresponding local potential.
