ResumoThe chimeric protein cages having dual functionalities inside and outside of LiDps are constructed by reassembling dissociated subunits with desired ratios and their compositions are monitored by noncovalent mass spectrometry at the molecular level. Binomial distribution analysis of mass spectra reveals that dissociated subunits reassemble randomly into a dodecameric cage.
