ResumoSelf-assembly of triangular nanoscale secondary building units affords a Kagomé lattice (see picture) that exhibits room-temperature magnetic hysteresis. This phenomenon is caused by spin frustration imparted by the triangular lattice topology, which is exemplified by direct comparison to a network having the same composition, but different topology.
