Resumo

MEETING ANO CURIOUS OCURRENCE OF TRICHODAMON FROESI MELLO-LEITÃO, (ARACHNIDA: AMBL YPYGl).T. froesi Mello-Leilão, 1940 (Arachida Amblypygi) wich has only been known from "Mangabeira" cave since its description in 1940, has now been found in two other caves ("Goal" and "Icó" caves and various small tunnels) in "Morro das Araras" (Macaw Mounlain) or "Morro dos Bueiros" (Channeled Moutain) an isolated mesa-like kill in lhe same region of the "Chapada Diamantina Meridional" Basin of Lençois, two kilometers southeast of the town of Ituaçu (13°48'56"S and 41 °17'53"W) and more recently lhe animal was collected infdarm house in Laje county (13°10'S and 39°25 'W) -Oriental Sediment Basin, Jequié-Mutuipe-zone Bahia, Brazil.
