ResumoReactions of [Ru2H(CO)5μ-(RO)2PN(Et)P(OR)22][PF6] (R = Me or Pri) with unsaturated compounds such as alkynes, nitriles and carbon disulphide give three-, four-, or five-membered dimetallocyclic species depending on the nature of the unsaturated system. The structures of [Ru2μ-η1-N(CHPh)(CO)4μ-(PriO)2PN(Et)P(OPri)22][PF6], 577 [Ru2μ-η2-OC(CHCHPh)(CO)4μ-(PriO)2PN(Et)P(OPri)22][PF6] 577 and [Ru2μ-η2-PhNC(H)S(CO)4μ-(PriO)2PN(Et)P(OPri)22] 577 [PF6] have been determined by X-ray crystallography.
