Resumo

Three new biotransformation products, eugenyl β-rutinoside, and isoeugenyl β-gentiobioside and β-rutinoside, together with eugenyl β-glucoside and β-gentiobioside, and isoeugenyl β-glucoside, were isolated from jar fermentor culture of Eucalyptus perriniana following administration of eugenol and isoeugenol, respectively. This is the first report of rhamnosylation in a biotransformation catalysed by cultured cells of E. perriniana.
