Resumo

Presentation of CaseA 28-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of hypertension.He was well until seven years previously, when mild hypertension was found; no treatment was prescribed. He began to experience fatigue, exertional dyspnea and occasional dull occipital headaches. Two months before admission examination elsewhere disclosed a murmur over the posterior thoracic area. A pulmonary arteriographic examination was reported to show coarctation of the aorta. He was referred to this hospital.The patient was a Korean national who was studying in the United States.
