Studies of the Bromeliaceae have led to a reevaluation of the four-taxa Tillandsia ad¬ pressa Andre assemblage.Herbarium research and field studies show that three of the taxa in the as¬ semblage should be recognized at the specific rank, while the remaining one should be transferred to subspecific status.All taxa are transferred to Ra¬ cinaea as follows: R. adpressa (Andre) J.
