Alpha Tauri, Beta Geminorum, and Mu Leonis. Tomkin, J. ; Lambert, D. L. Abstract High-resolution photoelectric scans of portions of the 2-0 and 4-0 bands of the CN red system in the spectra of three K giants alpha Tau, beta Gem, and mu Leo have been obtained. Analysis of the C-12N and C-13N line intensities provides the C-12/C-13 abundance ratios for these atmospheres. The results are C-12/C-13 equals 12 plus or minus 2 (alpha Tau), equals 16 plus or minus (2 beta Gem), equals 18 plus or minus 2 (mu Leo).
