Resumo

Twenty root canals in extracted human teeth were instrumented, using NaOCl and in one-half NaOCl in conjunction with Gly-Oxide in the other half. The effectiveness of the two irrigating solutions was examined using a scanning electron microscope evaluation of smear layer formation. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference between the two groups. The effectiveness of the two irrigating solutions was examined using a scanning electron microscope evaluation of smear layer formation. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference between the two groups.
