Written for the novice and the accomplished musician, this book provides illustrated plans for building many familiar instruments, including a flute, guitar and hand drum, from unconventional materials, such as plastic tubing, polystyrene foam and heavy cardboard tubing. There are also designs for less familiar instruments, such as an ocarina, a cuica and a bowed psaltery.
