ResumoInternal splinting with silicone tubing is now a well-established principle of lacrimal canaliculus repair, but fixation of the tubing ends is often unsatisfactory. The use of an internal suture allows this tubing to be converted into a small, continuous loop that is inconspicuous, cannot be inadvertently pulled out, and can remain in position indefinitely.
