ResumoParticularly in distance learning, the expansion of the use of digital mediation can generate information that supports the identification of needs of students.This article presents a research about potential use of messages in text format to identify the expression of doubts.Our approach differential is the adoption of Natural language processing and Knowledge Representation resources.Evaluations carried out with actual data from monitoring groups of students indicate that the approach is promising and shows good results.Are highlighted comparative cases showing that the approach adopted allows for greater precision in the identification of events.
