ResumoAn international group of surgeons* with experience in the field of tetraplegia participated in the Interna tional Conference of Surgical Rehabilitation of the Upper Limb in Tetraplegia, which was initiated by PROF. MOBERG of Goteborg and convened at Princess Margaret Rose Orthopaedic Hospital, Edinburgh, Scot land, June 5-6, 1978, by MR. DouGLAS LAMB. During the introductory comments, it was announced with re gret that DR. ZANCOLLI of Buenos Aires was unable to attend (but he has reviewed this summary). Increasing interest by a number of hand surgeons in the field of upper limb reconstruction in many different countries led to this meeting for the purposes of discus sion and comparison of methods and experience.
