Resumo

Silica/polythiophene (PT) core/shell nanospheres were fabricated by seeded polymerization and applied as a dispersing agent for ER fluids. For 30 vol% of silica/PT core/shell nanospheres, the maximum yield stress (3.9 kPa) remarkably increased more than 50 times compared to zero electric field strength.
