ResumoA tibiotarsus of an archaic bird from the Upper Cretaceous of Fox-Amphoux (Var, southern France) is described and referred to the Enantiornithes. Taken together with other recent discoveries of Late Cretaceous birds from France, this find suggests that at the end of the Cretaceous, the European avifauna was dominated by archaic forms.
