ResumoPeronospora rubi was observed in the UK on boysenberry, a blackberry x red raspberry hybrid, and on tummelberry, a cross between tayberry (blackberry cv. Aurora x tetraploid red raspberry) and another tayberry seedling from the same cross. These findings were new UK and world records respectively. The principal disease symptoms were leaf spots and blotches. The source of infection could not be identified.
