Abstract All standard security measures for any EDP environment, such as ensuring file system backups, apply to NetWare 5. In this guide, however, only those measures specific to the NetWare 5 network are discussed. Novell Directory Services (NDS) security, directory and file system security, login security, new security technology, the enhanced auditing system, server console security, and software licensing are all areas of interest.
