Resumo

Abstract N ‐Acylimines and their derivatives react with t ‐butyl isocyanide only the in presence of acid catalysis. The major products of these; reactions are 5‐aminooxazoles and 5‐iminooxazolines. The structure of these compounds and some of their degradative chemistry is discussed.
