Pauli and Curie susceptibilities of polythiophene

ResumoMagnetic resonance measurements of polythiothene doped with BF4− ion were reported. Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility was determined by Shumacher-Slichter (ESR/NMR) technique and Curie and Pauli susceptibilities were separated. Pauli susceptibility appeared at 8 mol % BF4− concentration. The density of states at the Fermi energy was found to be comparable order with that reported for ASF6− doped poly-phenylene and polyacetylene.
