ResumoAbstract Ordovician agnostid trilobites are described from the pre-Ashgill successions of the Siljan district, Dalarna, central Sweden. Eight species representing three genera are described and illustrated: Micragnostus toernquisti (Holm, 1882), Geragnostus wimani Tjernvik, 1956, G. cf. censors (Holub, 1912), G. sp. A, G. sp. B, Arthrorhachis cf. comes (Tripp, 1976), A. sp. A, and A.? sp. B. Neptunagnostella Pek, 1977 is regarded as a junior subjective synonym of Geragnostus. A lectotype is selected for Micragnostus toernquisti. The occurrence of Micragnostus in the Siljan district indicates that its early Ordovician geographical distribution can be extended to the Baltic palaeocontinent.
