Resumo

A study of a diester based Fe3O4 ferrofluid has been made over a wide temperature range, 4.2 K < T < 380 K, using static magnetic and ac susceptibility measuring methods. Analysis of the data yields information on the anisotropy constant, grain size distribution and clustering of the particles in the ferrofluid.
