A calculation of the electrical conductivity and Hall coefficient using band structure data and two simple 2-group models has been performed. This has permitted the group relaxation times to be evaluated, together with the relative contribution of each group of electrons to the transport coefficients. Results indicate that low velocity carriers make an important contribution to the conductivity at room temperature.
