Abstract The cover picture shows a scheme with general methods for the construction of spiro[pyrrolidine‐3,3′‐oxindoles]. The background shows a part of the facade of the main building of the ETH Zürich where the words INDOLE and EXPERIMENTO are displayed. INDOLE stands for “genius” or “mental activity”, but, of course, has another “chemical” meaning in the context of the Microreview by C. Marti and E. M. Carreira on p. 2209 ff.
