ResumoNine patients with gestational trophoblastic disease resistant to multiagent chemotherapy, CHAMOCA, received methotrexate, bleomycin, and etoposide (VP 16-213) combination therapy. Eight patients achieved complete remission. There was no drug-related death. The importance of vigilant search and prevention of sepsis was emphasized. Alternative combination chemotherapy for drug-resistant choriocarinoma was discussed.
