Abstract Results are presented for the abundances of ultraheavy cosmic rays with charge Z ≥ 34 from an analysis of the complete data set obtained in the Ariel 6 satellite mission. The high charge region 60 ≤ Z ≤ 82 is found to be overabundant compared to propagated solar system material by a factor of 1.84±0.14, and three actinide events are seen. It seems likely that the cosmic rays have experienced a different mix of r- and s-process exposures from those that have given rise to the solar system material.
