ResumoSucrose has been found to interfere with the estimation of protein and with the assay of a variety of soluble and particulate enzymes. No interference was detected in the estimation of inorganic phosphate by the Lowry and Lopez procedure. The usual pattern of interference was a reversible reduction of activity, linearly related to sucrose concentration.
