ResumoIntraosseous infusion is a potential route for intravenous access in the child with burns who required vascular access that cannot be achieved in a timely manner via another route. Drugs, fluid and blood can be given via this route and marrow aspirate drawn for laboratory analysis. It is a reliable, safe procedure with a low incidence of complications.
