Resumo

www.mej.sagepub.com They're as American as apple pie: Ballads, blues, bluegrass, Broadway, and jazz. But why stop there? Add to the American music list the sounds of gospel, polka, salsa, and stomp dances. How does one describe American music and music in America in a time of demographic diversity?
