An excavation programme concerning the site of Buis located in the depression border the Maures mountains cleared two areas of Roman settlements the positionement of which are different. They were occupied from 50 B. C. to the beguinning of the 3rd century A.D. This paper gives the results of archaeological datas that justify the identification of the site as Forum Voconii.
