ResumoThe reaction of [{Ni(dien)H2O}2(μ-ox)]Cl2 with controlled quantities of KCN or K2[Ni(CN)4] leads to a novel trinuclear nickel(II) complex [{Ni(dien)}2(μ-ox){μ-Ni(CN)4}]. The X-ray analysis reveals a triangular arrangement of nickel atoms bridged by one oxalate and two cyanide ligands.
