Zusammenfassung In den Nieren von insgesamt 8 Riesenschlangen (4 Python sebae, 1 Python molurus molurus, 1 Python reticulatus, 1 Python regius, 1 Boa constrictor) wurde eine durch Trematoden der Gattung Styphlodora bedingte urinogene Nephritis mit Ausbildung von Uratkonkrementen beobachtet, die in alien Fällen zur Uricaemie führte. Die Trematoden Styphlodora renalis, Styphlodora elegans und Styphlodora horridum werden beschrieben. Für Styphlodora renalis konnte in Python molurus molurus und für Styphlodora elegans in Python regius und Python sebae ein neuer Wirt festgestellt werden. Summary Pathological changes in the urinary organs of giant snakes after invasion by trematodes of the family Styphlodora Looss, 1899 In the kidneys of eight giant snakes (4 Python sebae, 1 Python molurus molurus, 1 Python reticulatus, 1 Python regius, 1 Boa constrictor) a trematode of the family Styphlodora was found associated with an ascending nephritis with the formation of urinary stones which in all cases caused uricaema. The trematodes S. renalis, S. elegans and S. horridum are described. For S. renalis a new host is described in Python molurus molurus and for S. elegans in Python regius and Python sebae. Résumé Modifications pathologiques des organes urinaires des serpents géants après invasions par les trématodes de l'espèce Styphlodora Looss, 1899 On a constaté, chez 8 serpents géants (4 pythons sebae, 1 python molurus molurus, 1 python reticulatus, 1 python regius, 1 boa constrictor) des néphrites urinogènes provoquées par des trématodes de l'espèce Styphlodora, avec formation de calculs qui tous provoquaient une uricémie. Les trématodes en cause: Styphlodora renalis, Styphlodora elegans et Styphlodora horridum sont décrits. Le python molurus molurus fut identifié comme étant un nouvel hôte pour Styphlodora renalis tandisque le python regius et le python sebae en sont tous deux de nouveaux pour le Styphlodora elegans. Resumen Alteraciones patológicas de los organos urinairios de serpientes gigantes tras la infestación con trematodes del género Styphlodora Looss, 1899 En los riñones de un total de 8 serpientes gigantes (4 Python sebae, 1 Python molurus molurus, 1 Python reticulatus, 1 Python regius y 1 Boa constrictor) se observó una nefritis urinógena con formación de concrementos de urato, condicionada por trematodes del género Styphlodora, que en todos los casos condujo a la uricemia. Se describen los trematodes Styphlodora renalis, Styphlodora elegans y Styphlodora horridum. Para el Styphlodora renalis se pudo comprobar un nuevo huésped en Python molurus molurus y para el Styphlodora elegans en Python regius y en Python sebae.
