ResumoAbstractInterworking of information servers on UUCP connectivity has been optimized by incorporating suitable protocols. A novel scheme has been proposed which uses a centrally located server node. Also, a multi server network model has been designed, developed and discussed from its implementation view point for performance gain. Implementation of the binary splitting tree algorithm for contention resolution has been explored under the assumption that feedback about channel status in UUCP network is made available through private (dedicated) channels.
