ResumoSpin waves, which are collective periodic variations of the magnetization vector, have been found in both sodium and potassium. This is the first observation of genuine many-body effects in a solid-state plasma, and it confirms the collective Fermi-liquid model first proposed by Lev Landau ten years ago.
