ResumoGlucocorticoid receptor (GR) was localized immunohistochemically in nuclei of neurons in the arcuate nucleus of the rat hypothalamus. The double immunostaining method further revealed that about half of the GR-positive neurons in the arcuate nucleus were also immunoreactive for neuropeptide Y (NPY).
