ResumoIn the crystal, cyclopentadienylzinc methyl, Zn(C5H5)Me, adopts a puckered -Zn(C5H5Zn(C5H5- chain structure in which the bridging cyclopentadienyl groups co-ordinate di- or tri-hapto to the bridged zinc atoms, apparently functioning as five-electron ligands.
