We are reporting a rare type of tarsal coalition, an adult presenting with a symptomatic cuboid-navicular synostosis which was treated operatively by excision of the bar with an excellent result. The patient was unable to work, because of his preoperative symptoms, and was subsequently able to resume his job and normal leisure activities.
