ResumoA 73-year-old man receiving heparin developed a large hematoma in the first web after a routine blood draw. Color Doppler ultrasound demonstrated a pseudoaneurysm of the princeps pollicis artery. Ultrasound-guided compression resulted in successful thrombosis of the pseudoaneurysm.
