Resumo

The infrared spectrum of 14N216O has been studied extensively, the most recent work being that of Tidwell, Plyler, and Benedict (1), Pliva (2), Gordon and McCubbin (3), and Grosso and McCubbin (4). To our knowledge, the microwave spectrum of 14N216O in excited vibrational states has not been recorded, aside from measurements on ν21 by Burrus and Gordy (5). Accurate values of the rotational constants of molecules in the 2ν20 (Σ), 2ν22 (Δ), and ν1 (Σ) vibrational states are required in order to treat the Fermi interaction between 2ν0 and ν1. These constants have been determined in this work.
