ResumoJ. Martin Leland III, M.D., has joined us as Associate Editor for Technology, a new position created in response to the rapidly developing and ever-changing technology of social media. Dr. Leland is assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Chicago. He graduated With Distinction from the University of Virginia with a bachelor of arts in biology, going on to earn his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His residency in orthopaedic surgery followed at the Albany Medical Center after which he returned to Jefferson for his clinical fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine. He served as team physician for the Chicago Blackhawks, and is currently a college and high school team physician. Marty is an active member of AANA, AOSSM, and AAOS, currently serving on the Education Committee of AOSSM, and as chair of the AANA Social Media Task Force. This year he was chosen as an AANA Traveling Fellow and was named Associate Master Instructor of the Year by the Orthopaedic Learning Center. I am excited about the perspective that Marty will bring to our editorial team as well as his energy and enthusiasm as we forge ahead into the future. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Martin Leland to Arthroscopy.
