ResumoThe effects of substitution of oxygen by fluorine in YBa2Cu3O6.5−x+δF2x were studied by means of the O Kα and F Kα X-ray emission spectra. It was inferred that fluorine atoms enter the lattice of YBa2Cu3O6.5 and occupy oxygen sites in the CuO2 planes up to x≤1.
