Learn more.Copy URL Share a linkShare onFacebookTwitterLinkedInRedditWechat Abstract Recent reports advocate α-interferon (α-Ifn) treatment for mononeuropathy multiplex in hepatitis C virus-associated cryoglobulinemia. We report 2 patients with this disorder to describe two underrecognized treatment outcomes—worsening of polyneuropathy with initiation of α-Ifn, in the absence of immunosuppression, and deterioration of liver function with prednisone, despite improvement of polyneuropathy. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
